From restaurant floors to front end frameworks.

I'm Pyone Khant Naung, but you can call me Kai. I started in Japanese restaurants as a sushi chef, moved to the front of house, and spent seven years in busy dining rooms where timing and detail were the whole job. Most recently I was a lead server at a Michelin starred restaurant.

Somewhere between taking orders and clearing tables, I got curious about the systems running underneath all of it. I started coding after shifts. Basic HTML and CSS at first. One line became two, then a page, then a project.

Today I build with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I'm going deeper into React. The habits carry over more than I expected. In a dining room you learn to work in order, notice the small thing before it becomes the big thing, and never send something out half finished. That is most of what writing good code turns out to be.

This isn't just a career switch. It's me reshaping my future one tag, one function, one project at a time.
